While white men mostly deal with obesity or heart disease, Thai men deal more with liver cancer or liver failure from drinking!

Thai men have many charms and over drinking is one that kills the rating.
This is imply to all THAI GOOD MEN but admit it, Thai is ranked on the top list for most drink nation (country) and heard that we are the 1st most drunk country in Asia!

Thai men love to drink and drink heavily. They even have a study “Patterns of drinking in Thai men” and hope to have a plan to “intervention program for excessive drinking in Thailand”.

- No wonder Top 10 millionaire in Thailand either silly energy drinks with super extra caffeine or beer, whiskey company
- No wonder USA television campaign don’t drink and drive to teenage while Thailand campaign aim on adult grown up to old Thai men
- No wonder USA slogan is “don’t drink and drive”white Thailand slogan is “don’t drive drunk” which pretty much mean you can drink and if not drunk, it’s ok to drive. Something wrong with Thai slogan for it should be "drink! don't drive") LOL

How much Thai loves to drink?
Let’s see, any occasion or party can NOT be without alcohol or that’s party has bad rating from their guess.
- Men enter monk hood…. Joy of good karma, cheer drinks
- Wedding… happy for the bride, sad for the groom, drunk again
- Funeral….. so sad… let’s have drinks
- New born baby… stack cans of beer along the wall of hospital window
- Get promote… celebration drinks
- Got fired…. So depress, must have drinks
- Lunch long break… ice, coke and a bottle of whiskey
- Dinner anyday….. ice, coke, and a bottle of whiskey
- Any PUBS, Bars for Thai people sell whiskey by THE BOOTLE not by GLASS! That’s tell you a lot of how much Thai drinks. They call it a member bottle!

I was a drinker once and earned reputation of “the alcohol devil”. I realized that friends meeting involved around drinking. My friend called from hospital drunk and his wife just had a baby, LOL!

Thai men drinks to death and I know a few people near me who died from over drinking in Thailand, my uncle and a friend.

This doesn’t mean white men don’t drink, but you can go to jail longer and go to court for drunk driver cost you more. German men known to drink a lot, but when I went to Germany, I was surprised that a friend who was so drunk with walk a night before will NOT drink at all for he has to drive the next day.


I think Thai people are very polite and discreet and drinking make them more open up and fun. It’s just hard for all of us to start having fun and know when to stop.

I still think drinking a bit of wine or alcohol is sexy and it’s aroma! Only not when you start to have alcohol breath and drunk like a skunk.
